MBOMBELA –
Mpumalanga will mark Freedom Day celebrations with hand-over of
houses in ***** and donation of wheelchairs to disabled community
members.
The Freedom Day Celebration will start with a freedom parade in
*********. This year’s commemoration carries the theme, “Working
together to unite the nation, promote democracy and protect freedom”
The theme is a calling is a call to all
South Africans to work together to build the South African nation,
united in its diversity.
MEC for Culture, Sport and Recreation, Ms Sibongile Manana and her
colleagues in the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature will grace the
celebrations in which the speech of the President of the Republic of
South Africa, Honourable Jacob Zuma will be broadcast live on big
screens.
