Premier Mabuza to receive report of the Commission of Enquiry into the socio economic conditions of farm dwellers

Mpumalanga Premier David Mabuza will tomorrow receive a report of the Commission of Enquiry into the socio economic conditions of farm dwellers.

The Commission was established in September 2015 and was mandated to investigate and report on the socio-economic conditions of farm dwellers in the province.

The Commission has investigated and made its recommendations on amongst others the protection of human rights; safety and security of farm dwellers; security of tenure; employment security; access to adequate and sustainable housing; access to basic services such as water, electricity and sanitation; access to quality education, health care; justice system and illegal evictions.

The press briefing to hand over the report to the Premier has been scheduled as follows;
