Mpumalanga Premier to cast her ballot in Emalahleni on voting day

Mpumalanga Premier, Ms Refilwe Mtshweni-Tsipane will join dozens of voters to cast her ballot in Emalahleni on Monday. This as the country marks 1 November 2021 as the election day for the 6th Local Government administration. Mtshweni-Tsipane says Local Government is a critical layer of administration that is closest to local communities. She calls on eligible voters to utilize the elections to elect candidates who will represent their aspirations at Mpumalanga’s twenty (20) municipalities.

Mtshweni-Tsipane says by casting her ballot tomorrow, she will not only be exersizing her democratic rights as enshrined in the Constitution, but will also be contributing towards the establishment of a Local Government system based on the will of the people by the people. She further urged all citizens in Mpumalanga to vote in their numbers and appealed to them to do so in a peaceful manner.
