Mpumalanga Premier to monitor vaccination drive in Emalahleni and Mkhondo Local Municipalities

Mpumalanga Premier Ms Refilwe Mtshweni-Tsipane will this week be visiting a number of companies and communities to monitor vaccination in the province.

The Premier’s drive is targeting mining and agricultural companies operating in Mpumalanga. Ms Mtshweni-Tsipane says the pace at which the elderly and males were coming to vaccinate was worrisome as their numbers were still low hence this drive to educate and encourage them to volunteer to vaccinate.

As part of the visit to the vaccination programme, the Premier, accompanied by the MEC for Health in Mpumalanga, Ms Sasekani Manzini and Gert SibandeDistrict Executive Mayor, Cllr Muzi Chirwa will tour the state-of-the-art Sasol Medical Centre where the employees will take the jab.
