Premier Mtshweni-Tsipane to lead EXCO Outreach in Govan Mbeki Municipality

Mpumalanga Premier, Ms Refilwe Mtshweni-Tsipane and Members of the Executive Council (MECs) will next week interact with communities in and around Govan Mbeki Local Municipality to monitor and give feedback on the Provincial Government’s service delivery programmes.

This will be the second outreach programme by the Mpumalanga Provincial Government in this financial year to visit and address issues affecting communities in the Province. The Provincial Government has implemented a variety of service delivery projects and programmes throughout the Province in its efforts to uplift communities for a better life. Outreach programmes are vital for the assessment of the state of service delivery. As such the focus will be on Govan Mbeki Local Municipality, to achieve this purpose.

Mtshweni-Tsipane will also visit a youth-owned printing project funded through the Premier’s Youth Development Fund (PYDF) in Leandra, before interacting with the community during the Premier’s Imbizo, scheduled for Thursday morning.
