Premier Mtshweni-Tsipane and Speaker Masilela to table 2023/24 plans during Budget Votes in the Legislature

Mpumalanga Premier, Ms Refilwe Mtshweni-Tsipane and the Speaker of the Provincial Legislature, Ms Makhosazane Masilela will on Tuesday, table plans to enhance service delivery and effective oversight, based on the mandate of the two institutions.

The budget vote affords the Premier an apportunity to provide progress on commitments made during the previous year, among them, the Premier’s Youth Development Fund, the Just Energy Transition and the programme of action in support of the military veterans. The Premier will further table plans designed to improve the capacity of the state to address socio-economic challenges of communities in Mpumalanga.

The Speaker will table progress of commitments made in the previous year as well as measures to enhance oversight, law making and public participation.
