Mpumalanga Provincial Government hosts celebration of Africa Public Service Day in Mgobodzi

The Mpumalanga Provincial Government will this week host Africa Public Service Day (APSD) aimed at recognizing the value and virtue of service to the community by the government.

The APSD is celebrated annually on the 23rd of June and is entrenched in the African Union calendar. The day originates from the conference of African Ministers for Public or Civil Service held in Tangier, Morocco in 1994.

This year’s celebrations will be held under the theme: “The year of Acceleration of the African Continental Free Trade Area Implementation”. A broad range of government services will be provided.
