and Liaison MEC, Sibongile Manana will
address a two day Youth Crime Prevention
Summit to be held as follows:

The purpose of the Summit is to
bring stakeholders together to develop
strategies which would assist in
maximizing youth involvement in crime
prevention.
The Summit is one of many initiatives by
the department to mobilize all
stakeholders about the fight against
crime.
Other key stakeholders such as SAPS,
Department of Education, Community
Policing Forum (CPF), school governing
bodies will participate at the event.
The theme for the Summit is “Youth for
safer South Africa”.
Members of the media are invited to
attend the Summit.
