MEC Shongwe to
recognize exceptional police women

In his resolve to motivate the police
to work hard in the fight against crime,
Mpumalanga MEC for Safety, Security Vusi
Shongwe will on Friday evening give
awards to police women who went beyond
the call of duty.
The Prestige Awards honour those women
officers who have exceptionally
performed in community projects such as
motivating other members, implementing
SAPS campaigns, conducting studies,
securing sponsorships for the needy and
many more.
The award-giving ceremony will be the
Shongwe’s first public appearance as an
MEC for the Department of Safety,
Security and Liaison.
