Business Community to donate motorbikes to the police

Mpumalanga Community Safety, Security and Liaison MEC Vusi Shongwe will on behalf of the police receive motorbikes from Buscor and Protea Tyres to be used by the police.

This donation is as a result of the department’s Overall Friday campaign of encouraging people including the business sector to take part in the fight against crime. The two companies pledged the donation of the motorbikes during a meeting between the department, the media and the business community.

The motorbikes will be distributed to police stations to be used on road where vehicles cannot access crime scenes.

The hand over will take place as follows:
