Shongwe and Mahlangu to table Budget

The MECs for Mpumalanga Safety,
Security and Liaison, Mr. Vusi Shongwe
and Social Development and Ms. Dikeledi
Mahlangu, will on Thursday 02 June 2011
table their Policy and Budget Speeches
for 2011/ 2012 financial year at the
provincial Legislature in Nelspruit.
MEC Shongwe will among others reveal
crime prevention initiatives on rural
safety, reduction of contact crime,
victim empowerment projects as well as
strategies to enhance school safety in
the province.
On the other hand, MEC Mahlangu is
expected to reflect on services for
children, youth, women, older persons,
persons with disabilities, foster care,
HIV and AIDS and substance abuse.

presentation that is scheduled to take
