Msogwaba Prays Against Crime

The community of Msogwaba,
outside KaNyamazane will hold an
Anti Crime and Moral
Regeneration Prayer Function on
Sunday, 20 July 2008 at Msogwaba
Primary School at 10h00.
The event is the initiative of
Msogwaba Traditional Council
Women in Traditional Leadership
and Vukamake Ubuyele Emasimini
Non Governmental Organization.
It is supported by the
Departments of Safety and
Security, Justice and
Constitutional Development,
South African Social Security
Agency, Health and Social
Services, Correctional Services,
Ehlanzeni District Municipality,
Mbombela Municipality and other
community structures.
Mpumalanga Safety and Security
MEC, Honourable Siphosezwe
Masango will deliver a keynote
address at the event.
It has stemmed from a need to
deal with a continuous and
persistent moral decay within
the community. The purpose of
the campaign is to among others
promote the spirit of Ubuntu
through the promotion of family
values, to mobilise all
stakeholders in combating crime,
to advocate healthy neigbourhood
relations and to develop annual
programme of action on moral
regeneration.
