Speaking at the Occasion of the Provincial Installment of the National Teaching Awards on Saturday in Kruger National Park, MEC Dlamini congratulated all the teachers
of the Province, especially those who go an extra mile to improve the delivery of quality learning and teaching : "Thank you very much for this opportunity to extend
our accolades to the torch bearers for people’s emancipation- our teachers.
Indeed, this platform provides us with an opportunity to honour the teachers who give all
their soul, mind and body to teach and transfer skills, knowledge and values to our learners. Today, as we enter the 23rd year of the National Teaching Awards,
we appreciate the teachers who go an extra mile working hard and smart at times under trying circumstances...
Today marked a significant milestone in the educational landscape of Moloto Village in the Thembisile Hani Local Municipality. This is due to the official handover
of a state of the art science laboratory at Ndzundza Mabhoko Secondary School. MEC Cathy Dlamini expressed her immense pride and excitement at this momentous occasion.
She emphasized that the laboratory's transformative potential in equipping learners with the tools to explore the wonders of science remains paramount and she said :
"The new facility boasts modern scientific equipment, providing a stimulating environment for hands-on learning and experimentation. This investment in education will
empower learners to excel in their studies, unlocking their full potential. The success of this laboratory hinges on the active participation of all stakeholders.
