Private Secretariat (Internal Office)
Introduction
The Private Secretariat remains committed to the building of a strategic centre of excellence, capable of supporting the Premier in Executive Council, in order to drive good governance, social transformation and development, economic growth and the people's contract with the citizen of the province.
Objectives
To facilitate an enabling environment in which the Premier is able to fulfill his/her constitutional, legislative and political obligations. This is achieved through the provision of administrative and professional support services to the Premier and his/her advisers, and includes:
- effective co-ordination and management of Premier’s programme
- rendering of professional administrative support and advisory services to the executing authority
- ensuring administrative compliance with public service legal framework.
