Good governance:
Ensuring and implementing the Public Service Management Framework and preventing and combating corruption and fraud. It is important to note that, although the Chief Directorate: Legal Advisory Services does not render a direct service to the general public as such, it has, as far as the broad principles of the PGDS are concerned, a vital role to play in ensuring that the legislative framework is in place and is continuously being adhered to and complied with, in order to ensure that service delivery is effectively, efficiently and legally dealt with. Apart from the furnishing of sound legal assistance, advice and formal legal opinions, the expeditious drafting of sound Provincial Legislation is obviously the most important factor in this regard. The same applies to the provision of legal assistance, advice and formal legal opinions that have a direct or indirect bearing on or link to the PGDS.Contact Details
