Premier announces a provincial commission on traditional disputes and claims
Premier David Mabuza will announce the provincial Commission on
Traditional Leadership Disputes and Claims on Friday 02 September 2011 at the
Executive Council boardroom in Nelspruit.
This follows on the announcement of the National Commission of Traditional Leadership Disputes and Claims by Acting Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Nathi Mthethwa in April this year. The Commission’s mandate will among others work with in tandem with the National commission to investigate claims and disputes of traditional leadership, restore the dignity and integrity of the tradiotional leaders and traditional communities and the entire institution of traditional leadership in the province.
