This is part of the government’s public participation programme to
strengthen community participation and decision-making through interacting with
various communities in Mpumalanga, to discuss wide-ranging issues of service
delivery. Government gets the opportunity to communicate its Programme of
Action, plans and discuss possible solutions directly with the communities
whilst the community members get the opportunity to hold government accountable
by raising concerns, making suggestions as way of influencing and suggesting the
pace and form of service delivery.
Members of the Executive Council will be addressing the community
meeting to provide feedback and interact with the communities on any service
delivery issue.
