Mpumalanga Executive Council will on Thursday, 08 August, visit various areas in Bushbuckridge Local Municipality as part of the outreach programme. During this outreach several projects will be delivered to beneficiaries by Members of the Executive Council in Thulamahashe and other villages in Bushbuckridge.

These projects include the handover of 540 houses, the delivery of 4 houses under the Premier’s Legacy projects, the opening of the victim empowerment centre, opening of access roads, handover of a computer laboratory to a school in the area.

The governments’ efforts are geared at alleviating the poor state under which the majority of the people live. These outreaches therefore expose the leadership to the grinding poverty that afflicts many areas that were hardest hit by apartheid policies of separate development.

In particular, the Legacy project will once more bring relief to the faces of 14 siblings who endured the indignity of sleeping in a one roomed house as a result of the legacy of the past. Kancane Kancane Legacy projects will be surely but slowly change many lives for the better.

Premier Mabuza is also expected to host a gala dinner in the evening in honour of the guests and dignitaries from all walks of live who will be attending the Women’s Day celebrations.
