Official hand-over of school infrastructure projects

Mpumalanga Premier David Mabuza will officially hand over eight (8) Infrastructure projects on 24 August 2012 at 13:00 in the Nkangala District, Marapyane Circuit in Dr. JS Moroka Local Municipality.
The Projects range from the construction of three fully fledged schools to the construction of additional classrooms and administration blocks. These projects are part of government’s efforts to enhance the quality of teaching and learning in all public schools.
The projects can be summarised as follows:
- Kabete Primary School
The school received two additional classrooms. - Lefiso Primary School
A new school was constructed with eight (8) classrooms, an administration block, a computer centre, a library, a kitchen, 12 toilet facilities, ramps and rails, two sports grounds and two parking areas. - Lefiswana Primary School
Four additional classrooms were constructed - Ramabale Primary School
The school received four (4) additional classrooms - Lehlabile Senior Secondary School
There was an additional construction of an Administrative Block - Lekholane Primary School
The construction project entails a new school structure with 15 classrooms, an administration block, a computer laboratory, a kitchen, ten learner’s toilets, two 10 000 litres water tanks and palisade fencing. - Pelonolo Special School
A new school structure was built consisting of 4 classrooms, 2 workshops, an administration block, 7 toilets with rails and ramps. - Ditlhokwe Primary School
A new administration bock was added to the School.
These school projects will benefit communities in Marapyane and the neighbouring communities.
The MEC for Education, Mrs Reginah Mhaule, the Executive Mayor of Nkangala Cllr Speedy Mashilo, senior management staff and other invited dignitaries are expected to grace the event
