Signing of EPWP agreement

Members of the media are invited to attend the ceremony on
the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement on the Extended Public Works
Programme Incentive Grant for Provinces, between the national Department of
Public Works and the Mpumalanga's Department of Public Works, Roads and
Transport. This programme was announced by President Jacob Zuma, during the
State of the Nation Address on 3 June 2009, where the President stated that at
one million jobs will be created per year.
Premier David Mabuza and the Minister of Public Works
Geoffrey Doidge are expected to sign the Memorandum of Agreement.
