Premier signs MOU with Standard Bank
Premier David Mabuza together with the representatives of Standard Bank
of South Africa CEO will sign a memorandum of understanding on the support of
cooperatives on Wednesday 31 August 2011 at the Mpumalanga Agricultural College
in Nelspruit.
This is part of the implementation of Comprehensive Rural Development Programme to empower primary cooperatives so that they can participate in CRDP projects. The intended to integrate rural businesses in the formal economy through facilitating access to funding and non-financial support such as training and mentoring.
Members of the Executive Council, Executive Mayors, Standard Bank CEO, Organised business, Organised labour and senior government managers are expected to grace the occasion.
