MEC Shongwe hands over a mini bus to Shane Mashaba

Mpumalanga Community Safety, Security and Liaison MEC Vusi Shongwe will hand over a mini-bus to Shane Mashaba at Greenway Woods Hotel White river on Tuesday, 03 July 2012 at 08:30 am.
Shane Mashaba was representing Mpumalanga Province at the Brandhouse Number 1 Taxi Driver Competition for 2012, where he won a Toyota Quantum mini-bus.
The winners for various categories were announced during a National Finalist Prize Giving Ceremony held in Boksburg on Thursday (07 June 2012). Mashaba, who hails from Dwarsloop in Bushbuckridge, won in the category of the Best Taxi Driver Category as voted by the commuters.
The Quantum mini-bus that Mashaba won is sponsored by Toyota South Africa. The Number 1 Taxi Driver campaign seeks to enhance safe driving skills among taxi drivers drawn from all nine provinces.
