Department hosts safety and security summit

Mpumalanga Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison will host a Safety and Security Summit from 2 to 3 August 2012 in Govan Mbeki Municipality (Secunda).
The purpose of the summit is to among others deliberate on effectiveness of crime fighting strategies and interventions in the province and to start a process towards building effective crime prevention and fighting through partnerships.
The theme for the summit is, “I can, you can and we can build a secure society for all.”
