MPUMALANGA TO CELEBRATE AFRICA PUBLIC SERVICE DAY (APSD) IN PIXLEY KA ISAKA SEME

Mbombela - Mpumalanga Province will celebrate Africa Public Service Day at Pixley Ka Isaka Seme Local Municipality on 23 June 2017.
African Public Service Day is a premier public service event in the African Union calendar and forms part of the programme of the African Union which was established under different names since 1994. It is celebrated provincially, nationally, continentally
This year’s main theme is “Entrenching a citizen-centred service delivery: Partnering with the youth for Africa’s transformation”.
The programme also embraces the sub-themes that are aimed at partnering with the youth to build a responsive and sustainable Public Service, nurturing a culture of professionalism and ethical values in Africa’s Public Service and leveraging ICT skills for quality service delivery.
The Acting Premier Mr Gillion Mashego will deliver a key note address. High level provincial, district and local management leadership are expected to grace the occasion.
Services offered by different government institutions will be showcased on the day.
