PREMIER MABUZA TO ADDRESS SENIOR MANAGEMENT SUMMIT AND SIGN COMMITMENT PLEDGE

Mpumalanga Premier David Mabuza will tomorrow address the Mpumalanga Senior Management Summit, which is currently taking place at Ingwenyama Lodge, White River, Mbombela. The summit will be on its last and third day.

Premier Mabuza will later sign the commitment pledge with the heads of departments, municipal managers and chief financial officer of the parastatals to ensure that the senior management level in the province becomes an innovative and dynamic state machinery maximized for service delivery.

During the summit in the past two days, the senior managers have been sharing ideas on innovation, with other public institutions such as the Centre for Public Service Innovation, National School of Government, Public Service Commission and other provincial departments from KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng.

Round table discussions by the commissions varied from topics such as effective leadership in the public administration, harnessing public private partnership opportunities for socio-economic development and effective methods and opportunities for solving problems in the public service.
