Premier Mabuza to host Premier’s Service & Youth Excellence Awards

Mpumalanga Premier David Mabuza will
honour individuals and teams whose work has displayed innovations and
service of high quality to change lives of the citizens in Mpumalanga.
The public servants will be honoured for putting people first when
they deliver services which uplift the spirit of Batho Pele, while the youth
will be honoured for establishing the means of living without relying on the
Government’s assistance.
The following Batho Pele categories
have been identified:
Education, Public and Private
Partnership and Health as well as Back office. The prizes have been
allocated as follows:
1st Prize Gold Trophy for
one team goes with an amount of R20 000.
2nd Prize Silver Trophies
for two teams goes with an amount of R10.000
3rd Prize Bronze Trophies
for three teams goes with an amount of R5.000
Total value of monetary awards for this
category is R 185 000.00
Youth categories are:
Entrepreneurship and Job Creation,
Education, Volunteerism, Culture, Sport & arts and service delivery of the
year award.
1st Prize Gold Trophy for
one team goes with an amount of R15 000.
2nd Prize Silver Trophies
for two teams goes with an amount of R10.000
3rd Prize Bronze Trophies
for three teams goes with an amount of R5.000
Total value of monetary awards for this
category is R 150 000.00
