Premier Mabuza conveys condolences to bereaved families of R40 accident

Mpumalanga Premier David Mabuza has conveyed his condolences to the families of the victims of the R40 accident that claimed 10 lives last night.

Premier Mabuza said has further wished a speedy recovery to those who sustained injuries who had been admitted to hospital.

“It is unfortunate that accidents continue to rob our province bread winners, bring sorrow and contribute towards complicating the lives of many families.
“We would like to urge motorists to be extra vigilant on the roads by playing their role in order to assist to avoid human errors. Motorists should exercise caution constantly when using our roads and should stop and rest when they feel fatigued,” said Mabuza

He added that government would continue to do its part in ensuring that all the roads are safe through maintenance and law enforcement.

“As a provincial government, we view accidents in a serious light because the loss of one life is one too many,” said Mabuza.
