The Mpumalanga Executive Council has also joined the rest of the South Africans in sending their sincere condolences on behalf of the government and the people Mpumalanga to the President of the Republic of South Africa His Excellency Jacob Zuma, and the family of the late Public Service and Administration Minister Collins Chabane who died tragically after a horrible car accident yesterday.

Mpumalanga provincial executive council would also like to send its sincere condolences to the families of the protectors of the late minister who were travelling with him.

Chairing a special executive meeting to approve the budget proposal to be tabled by Finance MEC Erick Kholwane tomorrow [Tuesday, 17 March 2015], and after observing a moment of silence in paying tribute to the late Minister Chabane, Mpumalanga Premier David Mabuza said the country had lost a deep thinker, who would not just comment unnecessary, an individual who was always peaceful.

“We have lost a very good cadre, he was a very humble someone. It is unbelievable that he is no more. On behalf of the government and people of Mpumalanga we wish to convey our sincere condolences to the President, the Chabane family as well as the families of the protectors who died with him,” said Mabuza.
