Security Cluster Ministers will visit Mpumalanga province to assess the security readiness for the forthcoming general elections
1 April 2009
The security cluster consists of the Departments of Safety and Security, Defense, Intelligence Services, Correctional Services, Home Affairs, and Justice and Constitutional Development departments.
The Ministers, together with the Provincial Safety and Security MEC, Mr Siphosezwe Masango will after listening to presentations by various stakeholders, which include the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC), provincial joint committee, visit hotspots areas that might pose a treat to the elections.
