– The dignity of a 81 year old woman who has been staying with eight grandchildren in an dilapidated shack in Entokozweni has been restored by the MEC for Economic Development, Environment and Tourism; Mr Norman Mokoena and Ligwlagwala FM radio personality Gugu Nyarenda when they donated a house to Lomazulu Caith Shongwe. Secunda– Officials from the Department of Economic Development, Environment and Tourism spent 67 minutes of their time during Nelson Mandela International Day Celebration on Monday, 18 July by cleaning Basizeni School in Embalenhle, and also donated an industrial sewing machine to Basele Sewing Co-operative which is run by 5 women involved in the sewing industry.(read more...)
