Premier Mabuza conveys condolences to bereaved families of children who died in a road accident near Bronkhorspruit

Mpumalanga Premier David Mabuza has conveyed his condolences to the families of the victims of the R25 road accident that claimed 19 lives of school kids today outside Bronkhorspruit.

Premier Mabuza has further wished a speedy recovery to all those children who sustained injuries who have been admitted to hospital.

“Indeed it is a sad day in our province, I just cannot imagine the pain the parents of these children are going through. We convey our deepest condolences, their pain is our pain, and we will be with them during this difficult time in their lives."
“We would like to urge motorists to be extra vigilant on the roads by playing their role in order to assist to avoid human errors. They should constantly exercise caution,” said Mabuza.

He added that government would continue to do its part in ensuring that all the roads are safe through maintenance and law enforcement.

“As a provincial government, we view accidents in a serious light because the loss of one life is one too many,” said Mabuza.
