PREMIER MTSHWENI-TSIPANE TO OBSERVE THE PLEDGE SIGNING CEREMONY IN DIPALESENG

The Premier of Mpumalanga Province, Ms Refilwe Mtshweni-Tsipane together with the MEC for Education, Mr Bonakele Majuba will on 22 October 2021 at 10H00 visit Balfour Combined School to observe the signing of the pledge of good conduct by the Grade 12 learners.

This is part of an endeavour by the Department of Education to entrench ethical conduct during the writing of National Senior Certificate Examinations which will start in full swing on 27 October 2021.

All Grade 12 learners of the neighboring schools will convene at Balfour Combined School for this activation:
  • Tshepeha Secondary School
  • Setsheng Secondary School
  • Isifiso Sethu Secondary School
  • Nthoroane Secondary School
  • IM Manchu Secondary School
There are 69 260 learners that have been registered as candidates for the 2021 Grade 12 Examination in 560 NSC examination centres. This is the biggest number of candidates compared to the previous years .

The Department intends to continue to manage an incident free Examination which has been the norm since 2010 and to improve the results qualitatively.
