Mpumalanga Premier to brief media after a second visit to the homestead of Ndebele iconic artist, Esther Mahlangu

Mpumalanga Premier, Ms Refilwe Mtshweni-Tsipane will make a follow up visit to the homestead of Ndebele iconic artist, Dr Esther Mahlangu this afternoon. A case of robbery was opened by the police following an attack in her life last month.

At the time of Mahlangu’s attack, Premier Mtshweni-Tsipane condemned the robbery act, and urged the community to cooperate with the police by sharing information that will lead to the arrest of the criminals.

During her visit, the Premier will analyse the welfare of Mahlangu and provide an update of police investigation, after engaging local stakeholders, including the local traditional leadership. The visit will culminate into a media briefing afterwards.
