PREMIER EMBARKS ON CLEAN UP PROGRAMME OF TERTIARY HOSPITALS

Mpumalanga Premier, Ms Refilwe Mtshweni-Tsipane will embark on a clean up programme of tertiary hospitals in the province. The programme is in line with the aspiration of promoting quality health care as set out in the 2030 National Development Plan (NDP).

During the programme, Premier Mtshweni-Tsipane will engage stakeholders in the hospitals to motivate them to contribute towards the implementation of health improvement programmes and the reduction of infection rate in Mpumalanga, as pronounced in the State of the Province Address (SoPA) earlier this year.

The Premier has identified Rob Ferreira Hospital in Mbombela, as the first stop for the clean up programme, and will be accompanied by MEC for Health in Mpumalanga, Ms Sasekani Manzini.
