MPUMALANGA PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT HOSTS CELEBRATION OF AFRICA PUBLIC SERVICE DAY IN BALFOUR

The Mpumalanga Provincial Government will this week host Africa Public Service Day (APSD) aimed at recognizing the value and virtue of service to the community by the government.

The APSD is celebrated on the 23rd of June as an annual function entrenched in the African Union calendar. The day originates from the conference of African Ministers for Public or Civil Service held in Tangier, Morocco in 1994. This year’s celebrations will be held under the theme: “Rebuilding the state and restoring trust and pride by tackling human capital development challenges for social and economic development”.

Venue: Siyathemba Thusong Centre, Balfour in Dipaleseng Local Municipality, (Gert Sibande District Municipality)
