PREMIER NDLOVU MEETS TRADITIONAL LEADERS IN BUSHBUCKRIDGE

The Mpumalanga Premier, Mr. Mandla Ndlovu in on a quest to strengthen working relations with the institution of traditional leadership. The Premier will meet traditional leaders in the Bushbuckridge and Thaba Chweu Local Municipalities.

Since taking an oath of office as the Premier in July 2024, Mr. Ndlovu has engaged traditional leaders in various parts of the province. He says the 7th administration recognizes traditional leaders as key stakeholders in government’s initiatives to develop rural areas. He has since expressed commitment to construct twenty two (22) state-of-the-art offices, and the renovation of some, during the 2024/25 financial year.

The offices are the tools of trade for the traditional leaders to engage their stakeholders to discuss development initiatives and cultural activities. In addition, the offices are beneficial to the local communities as access point for government services, such as social grants.

The Premier will also hand over cows to the traditional leaders.
