SUSPECTED CONMAN TO APPEAR IN COURT FOR IMPERSONATING PREMIER MTSHWENI-TSIPANE’S NAME TO SOLICIT MONEY

A 33 year old conman accused of impersonating Mpumalanga Premier, is to appear in the Bronkhorspruit Magistrate court on Tuesday. The suspect was arrested by the police for scamming people, using Premier Refilwe Mtshweni-Tsipane’s name.

The suspect will face fraud charges with a possibility of additional charges, when he appears for the first time.

Police have urged the public to come forward with more evidence, in an attempt to clamp down on criminal syndicates who scam unsuspecting victims their hard-won money.
